Overview

When ShortTech partnered with Araminta Hall, the goal was to create a digital space that truly reflects her voice as a bestselling author while expanding her reach beyond social media. Known for her compelling psychological fiction and distinctive storytelling, Araminta has built a strong and engaged audience, but her website needed to become a central hub where readers could discover her work more independently and take the next step with ease.

We approached the project with a clear intention to design a clean, elegant, and intuitive website that places her books front and centre, making them easy to explore and even easier to purchase. Her readership spans both loyal fans and new audiences discovering her work for the first time, so the website needed to reflect her credibility and personality while acting as a bridge between discovery and purchase.

Objective

The project centred around increasing visibility and simplifying the user journey. We designed the site to ensure Araminta’s books are discoverable through search and accessible to visitors who may not have come through social platforms. Each book is clearly presented with concise information and direct purchase links, removing unnecessary steps between interest and action.

A key priority was simplicity. The structure of the site allows users to move smoothly between pages, whether they are reading about Araminta, browsing her titles, or looking for more information, without confusion or clutter. We also aimed to create a visual experience that complements her writing style, refined, engaging, and quietly impactful.
