I love owning and running my own business. It is no secret that I live and breathe ShortTech and wouldn’t change my job for the world, but as with every career path, you need a break sometimes.
A whirlwind since day one...
Since the very day I launched ShortTech it has been a whirlwind. I have been busy each and every day and I am grateful for that. I love my clients, past and present and am always looking forward to making new connections and embarking on projects with new ones.
But, the time has come for me to loosen the reins (just a little!) and go on holiday, leaving ShortTech under Holly’s watchful eye whilst I am sunning myself abroad.
There is a first time for everything...
Whilst I am over the moon to be heading off on holiday, I must admit, leaving my business – the one which I have nurtured over the past couple of years is a daunting prospect. But, I know myself, I have to recognise that we’re only human and we can’t be everything to everyone and everywhere all of the time. Sometimes, we need to stop, step away and recharge coming back refreshed and better than ever.
I have ensured that any emails sent to me from current clients or new enquiries will be automatically forwarded on to Holly to pick up, I have also set my voicemail up giving Holly’s number should any of you need any assistance whilst I am away.
For now, I am going to head to the hotel bar, take a dip in the pool most likely and I’ll see you all when I am back. I’ll be sharing some of my holiday experiences on social media – in case you aren’t envious enough!
