GDPR is enforced by the the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Although it is vital for large corporations to have a stringent GDPR policy, GDPR applies to all companies, including small businesses.
You can be fined up to 2% of your annual turnover if the ICO investigate. Do you remember when Meta was fined €17 million for 12 data breaches, with around 30 million people affected. Although this is a drop in the ocean for Meta, as a small business, you would want to avoid any fines!
