Hello hello, I am sat in the office working, with a fresh cup of tea escaping the unseasonal wind and rain that is outdoors, ready to write my very first ShortTech blog.
I’m Jas, I thought I would tell you a little bit about me and why I believe I am qualified to provide you with quality and affordable website design and tech support. I am passionate about taking the pain and stress out of having a website, for many sole traders and small business owners, the thought of building and maintaining a website is something which fills them with dread.
Did you leave the 9-5 way of life behind too?
I have a long history working in IT throughout my corporate life, and reached a point where I got fed up with the 9-5 demands of a career driven life and so I made the leap and decided to launch ShortTech. In addition to ShortTech, I frequently guest lecture at The University of Chichester.
ShortTech was created by me, Jas Sheridan and trust me, when you meet me, you’ll know exactly where the name came from! I love working with people and love nothing more than to help people! I have always been the go-to person to help and advice within my social circle and family too, and so ShortTech was designed with helping small businesses and sole traders in mind.
Where are my clients based?
I live and work in Chichester, West Sussex where I have my own little office at the back of the garden where you’ll often find me surrounded by all things web design and tech related. Let’s face it, as a sole trader or small business, you have far better things to do than fussing about your website or tech. As a sole trader or small business owner you want to be focused on doing what you do best and providing a top-class service to your customers. I should know, I am a sole trader too! I work with businesses in West Sussex and Hampshire in locations like Chichester, Arundel, Bognor Regis, Midhurst, Portsmouth and Petersfield.
My aim at ShortTech:
At ShortTech, my aim is to provide you with the support you need and/or work with you to build the website of your dreams without costing a bomb!
I have a variety of website care plans available starting from just £29.99 per month and absolutely love designing websites. I use WordPress and believe in design-led sites built with your unique business objectives in mind. In addition to WordPress, I use a variety of premium software to help increase and optimise your positioning on SERPS (search engine results pages), which ultimately is key to helping you drive and grow your business, whatever your industry.
Of course, I can’t go without introducing you to Archie our Golden Doodle who is 7 years old, he is the life and soul of the office. You can often find Archie sat by the office doors keeping us all company whilst we work.
